Proper Fastening: Roof

Fasteners should be 3/8” in from the edges and corners. Fasteners should be driven straight in. Do not over-drive or under-drive fasteners as that affects strength and holding power. Typical fastener spacing is 6” o.c. along edges and 12” o.c. in the field but there may be local code or design requirements that must be followed.
